A treatment of glazing brought style and unity to a very large living room in Shelter Island. The base coat is a vibrant blue, rolled and then brushed to achieve the right surface for the accent color. The dark blue accent was applied in two directions, creating a cross-hatch pattern. 6" brushes were used, allowing a consistent, measured texture across the walls. The effect is tonal, warm and interesting from any distance.
